Our Project

The HOUSE of TRANSFER project serves as a one-stop-shop for stakeholders from the bioeconomy, chemicals, plastics and hydrogen sectors in Central Germany. Existing activities are to be linked across sectors and value chains – with the aim of strengthening regional innovative capacity and accelerating the transformation towards a greenhouse gas-neutral circular economy.

To support the economy in Central Germany in achieving this goal, the HOUSE of TRANSFER offers a wide consulting and service portfolio and brings together, for example, technology providers with industrial needs, project ideas with investors, and start ups with experienced players. The HOUSE of TRANSFER also provides a transparent overview of stakeholders, topics, technologies and news from and between the four sectors.

We offer:

  • consultations,
  • support in the development of a business case,
  • market and funding overview,
  • matchmaking,
  • networking,
  • project launch support,
  • events,
  • and much more

Organisations

The Fraunhofer Institute for Wind Energy Systems IWES conducts research in the fields of wind and hydrogen energy. Innovations for future-oriented problems are developed by the IWES to promote structural change.

The BioEconomy e.V. has been connecting companies and research institutions in the bioeconomy sector nationally and internationally since 2012. In addition, the BioEconomy e.V. represents the interests of its members in economy, science and politics to promote the material use of biomass in order to support the transition from fossil to renewable resources.

The Fraunhofer Center for International Management and Knowledge Economy IMW already has sixteen years of experience in applied and socio-economic research through creating solutions in internationalization, technology economy, structural change, knowledge economy, strategy development as well as innovation and technology management.

The cooperation network Chemie + supports projects to secure the future of the raw materials network with the partial conversion to sustainable raw materials. Other sectors such as the primary industry and the waste management industry are involved in order to bundle developments to advance the industrial transformation.

The POLYKUM e.V. is a network of companies in the plastics industry, research institutions, universities and service providers. It is based in Merseburg in the Central German Chemical Triangle. The subject of bioplastics is a focus of the work of the non-profit association, which annually organizes the "BIOPOLYMER – Processing & Molding" congress and advertises an innovation award.

The Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg (MLU) is the oldest and largest university in Saxony-Anhalt and offers a wide range of subjects in the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences and medical sciences. The focus of research lies in the nano and bio sciences and in enlightenment, social and cultural research.

  • The HOUSE of TRANSFER project is being funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action to the tune of € 4.6 million on the basis of a decision of the German Bundestag.
